Is the routing number the same for checking and savings accounts? 

Yes. Garden Savings FCU uses the same 9-digit routing number for both checking and savings accounts. However, you must make sure to provide your correct, specific account number and specify the account type (checking or savings) when setting up transfers. 

What routing number do I use for direct deposit? 

To set up a direct deposit with your employer, use the Garden Savings Federal Credit Union routing number 221278954 along with your personal checking or savings account number. 

Where can I find my account number without a paper check? 

If you don't have a checkbook handy, you can find your full account number securely by logging into the Mobile Banking App or Online Banking. It is also clearly listed at the top of your monthly e-Statements. 

Is a routing number the same as an account number? 

No. A routing number is a public 9-digit code that identifies Garden Savings FCU as your specific financial institution. Your account number is a private, unique number that identifies your personal account inside the credit union. You need both to authorize electronic payments.
