Getting Started with Digital Banking!

  1. Register for Digital Banking by selecting Online Services in the upper-right corner of our website or by clicking Online Services below.
  2. Return to the Online Services login in the upper-right corner of the website once your registration is approved.
  3. Log in with your new username and password.
  4. Choose your preferred verification method by opting to receive a security code by text message or phone call. If you don't have a mobile device, we're happy to help at 973-628-3852.
  5. Begin exploring your Garden Savings Digital Banking Experience!

Getting Started with Mobile Banking App!

  1. Download Garden Savings FCU's Mobile Banking App from your mobile device's app store.
  2. Open the Garden Savings app.
  3. Register for Digital Banking by selecting Sign Up within the mobile app experience.
  4. Once your registration is approved, go back to the login screen and sign in with your new username and password.
  5. Verify your identity via text or call. Contact us at 973-628-3852 if you don’t have a mobile phone number on file.
  6. Start exploring your Garden Savings Digital Banking Experience.

Tips

Enrolling in E-Statements

Ditch the paper clutter and take control of your accounts with e-Statements. It’s the fastest, most secure way to manage your finances! 

  • You can access your new account statements and keep up to 24 months of history.
  • Select the Additional Services tab from the top navigation bar or choose the More option in our mobile app.
  • Click Register after reviewing the terms and conditions.
  • Finally, select Continue to view your E-Statement history.

Established Recurring Transfers

  1. Sign in to Digital Banking with your new username and password.
  2. Select Pay & Transfer and choose Schedule a Transfer.
  3. Choose the accounts, transfer amount, and start date.
  4. Turn on Repeat Transfer and select how often you'd like the transfer to occur.
  5. Add an optional memo and review your transfer details.
  6. Select Schedule Transfer to save your recurring transfer.

How long can I access GAF online banking?

GAF online and mobile banking will remain available through August 30, 2026.

Do I need to enroll in Garden Savings Online Banking?

Yes. Starting September 1 at 10:00 AM, visit gardensavings.org, select Online Services, then New User.

Will recurring transfers carry over?

Any recurring transfers set up online should be re-created after you register for Garden Savings Online Banking.

Is Bill Pay available?

Yes. Bill Pay will be available through Garden Savings Digital Banking as a new service option.

Update Direct Deposits & ACH Payments

Your direct deposit will continue to be redirected to your new account for a period of time after the merger. Once your new account is active, provide your new account and routing number to your employer, payroll provider, and any companies that automatically deposit to or withdraw from your account.

  • Once your new account and routing number are available, please update your information with your employer or payer to ensure uninterrupted deposits.

To locate your account number, select the Account and select Account Details in Digital Banking.

  • After the system conversion, you can find your new account numbers in Digital Banking, or by giving us a call or stopping by your local branch.

How do I update direct deposit or ACH payments?

After September 1, provide your new Garden Savings account and routing number to payroll, HR, and third parties that debit or credit your account.

Can I use old checks?

New Garden Savings checks have been ordered for you. Please begin using them once received and discontinue use of your old checks.

ATM / Debit Cards

Your new debit card can be activated beginning September 1 at 10:00 AM. After activation, remember to update any recurring payments, subscriptions, streaming services, memberships, and online merchants that use your debit card.

When will I receive my new debit card?

New cards will be mailed to cardholders who previously had an active card with GAF Linden Employees FCU. Your new card will be mailed on August 17 and is scheduled to arrive before August 30, 2026.

 

Until when can I use my current GAF debit card?

You may use your current GAF debit card through August 31, 2026.

 

When can I activate my new Garden Savings card?

You can activate and use the new card on September 1, 2026 starting at 10:00 AM. Unfortunately, activating your card early won’t work.

 

What should I do with my old card?

Your old debit card can be securely destroyed once you have activated and begun using your new debit card after September 1. You can also bring your old card into the branch for secure disposal.

 

What about automatic card payments?

After activating your new card, update recurring payments like utilities, subscriptions, memberships, gym payments, and online retailers.

Will my loan due date, rate, or terms change?

No, the terms, due dates, and rates of your loan will remain unchanged as stated in your original loan documents.

Will my internal loan payment from my GAF account carry over?

Yes. Your internal loan payment from your GAF account will automatically transfer during the conversion, and you will not need to set it up again.

How can I pay from a Garden Savings account?

Loan payments can be made through Garden Savings Online Banking once access is available.

How can I pay from another financial institution?

External payments can be made through our EZ Loan Pay portal once you have your new loan number. Our EZ Loan Pay can store payment methods and support one-time or recurring payments.
